Welcome to our Basketball Club

Barons kvartls is an integral part of the recent basketball history of Latvia, as it (under the name Princips) was one of the founding teams of the Latvian Basketball League (LBL) in 1992. In the first season, Princips brought bronze in the LBL. Princips was then renamed to LainERS following two seasons and set off with his first American legionary Mikki Jackson, a cheerleading show and first game programs in the Latvian league on the way to Latvian basketball history.

LainERS won in 1994 LBL bronze and finished in the next two seasons the 4th Place. In 1998, they also reached the semi-finals, but then succeeded for a few years, no greater success.

The revival of the club began in the fall of 2001, when LainERS became a baron. The way up was made gradually, but permanently. In 2004, the barons brought LBL bronze, but in the next two years, the historic 2nd place was reached. Barons have made history again with the First Player Cards.
